Choice Of Extracted Salvage
Was thinking it would be good if each time u used an expert salvage kit (and it was successful) you actually had the choice of what mod you could extract from a weapon (if there was more than one). Too many time I have extracted a fiery sword hilt (have about 3 in inventory now) when it was the other mod I was after. Ok so it may take some of the fun out of salvaging, but I just cant get round the idea of having a tool that you can extract mods from items and have no control over it.

Bad idea. Salvaging should remain a randomness. It's gamble thing.

Keep it random, it adds a little bit of an edge to it.
